to our site. This is our finest upgrade since 14th September 2002. All visitor

Who are we ?
We
are a small congregation under the Parish of St. James Quop and of St.
Thomas Anglican Diocese of Kuching.
St.
Philip Chapel was built in 1984 by Anglican Communities who resides in RPR Batu
12 on a piece of land belong to the bishop of Kuching. The land was
formerly used to rear cows. The fund to built the chapel was done through
communities support.
State
Government Of Sarawak donated about RM 50,000 to build a new chapel in 1995. The
new chapel can accommodate about 200 congregations. In July 2001, The State Government
allocated RM 35,000 to JKR to re-surface the chapel compound and car
park.
The congregation of St. Philip's Chapel is consist of so many races that is
Iban, Bidayuh, Chinese and Melanau. Even though we are of different ethnic
group but we able to maintain harmony and unity amongst ourselves. We are
brothers and sisters in the eye of God.
